This App is meant to show the inner workings of a bipolar junction transistor operating as both an amplifier and as a binary switch.

It helps to show some concepts that maybe difficult to comprehend from a static picture in a textbook.

The first sequence of images "Struct" shows the steps necessary to create the structure of a common-emitter transistor configured to operate as an amplifier and then as a binary switch.

The second sequence of images "Amp" simply shows the transistor operating as an amplifier.

The third sequence of images "Switch" simply shows the transistor operating as a binary switch.
